Africa Cup of Nations Final
Egypt snatched the ticket to qualify for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations final, after beating hosts Cameroon on penalties in a marathon game at the capital's 'Stade Paul Pia', Yaoundé, this Thursday evening, 3-2-2022, in the semi-finals of the tournament, to hit Rendez-vous with Senegal.
The initial time and extra time of the Egypt-Cameroon match ended in a goalless draw, before the Pharaohs decided the qualification ticket on penalties, 3-1.Ahmed Sayed "Zizou", Mohamed Abdel Moneim and Muhannad Lashin scored for Egypt in the penalty shootout.While scoring for Cameroon, Vincent Abubakar, Harold Mukodi, James Seleki and Clinton Moa Nji scored.Egypt will face Senegal in the final game of the Africa Cup of Nations at 9:00 p.m. next Sunday, while Cameroon will face Burkina Faso at 9:00 p.m. Saturday in the match for third place.Egypt and Senegal will meet next March in the final round of African qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
Cameroonian control and Egyptian opposition
The Cameroonian players dominated the match in the first 8 minutes, and reached Mohamed Abu Jabal's goal twice, but without any danger.
Egypt's first threat against Cameroon came in the ninth minute, after Mohamed Salah kicked in a powerful ball that went past the right post of André Onana's goal.

Hamdi Fathi headed a longitudinal ball towards André Onana's goal in the 39th minute, but referee Bakari Jasama counted an infiltration by the Al-Ahly player, although the TV replay proved the position correct of the player.
An Egyptian improvement and Salah wasted alone
With the start of the second half, Queiroz replaced Amr Al-Sulayya and replaced him with Mahmoud Hassan Trezeguet in the midfield.
